Step 4 – Arrange a Site Survey

A 30 minute site survey from one of our accredited and experienced engineers is the best way to get your perfect system designed based on the unique challenges your specific home has.

A site survey ensures no unforeseen issues arise.  We’ll take you through our finance options and current offers. You’ll also have the opportunity to grill us and ask any pertinent questions.

Step 5 - The Site Survey

The Site Survey is very informal. A cup of tea helps!!! Our first task is to get a thorough understanding of your needs and lifestyle. We’ll then ascertain you’re heating and hot water requirements. Don’t worry, we’ll ask all the relevant questions and use them to define what will become your system specification.

We’ll already have a specific design in our head by now, based on our initial discussions.  It’s on to the site survey next to ensure it can be installed and is indeed the correct one for your needs.

After surveying the site thoroughly, we’ll sit down with you and explain in easy to understand terms what we propose and why.  You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions and we’ll answer any queries in simple to understand terms so you have full confidence in the system proposed.

Step 6 - Ask/Answer Queries

We’ll usually provide you with a verbal cost along with any other key contractual terms at the Survey. We’ll follow this up by confirming the terms in writing (and/or by email) with a no obligation, guaranteed, fully inclusive, fixed price quote within 2 working days of the Site Survey

It’s very important to us that you fully understand our proposal.  That’s why we always try to call you back shortly after delivering the proposal.  It gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the installation, products or pricing and allows the engineer to respond accordingly.

You can of course discuss your proposal at any time by calling our friendly team who are always on hand to help you on

0161 900 3612 or 07891 855 205

Step 7 - Finance

We have many Finance Options available to you which are subject to approval by our Finance partners.  These options will have been made available to you at the Site Survey.

Approval is simple and only requires some basic information. and is received within 1 hour. We can get a no obligation, pre‑approval at the Site Survey or we can do it when you are ready to place the order and schedule the work.

Step 8 - Scheduling the work

Once contractual terms have been agreed, we will agree a suitable installation date with you.  Installations can be completed within 48 hours if necessary from our own stock. We’ll confirm the agreed installation date in writing.

Step 9 - Pre-installation

You’ll get a courtesy call from a member of our team to check you’re all set for your new Boiler/Heating installation on the agreed date.

We’ll discuss practical matters like property access, keys, parking, alarms and any special needs (elderly, pets etc) and working hours.

We’ll also ask you for emergency contact details in case we need to get hold of you to answer any queries (rare).

We’ll order any non-standard parts in advance.  All standard parts required for the installation will be collated from stock as a complete kit.

It will then be  checked and then loaded into one of our branded vans (you really can’t miss them!!) ready for delivery by our own engineers to your home, ready to be installed.

Step 10 - Installation

We’ll arrive on the agreed date and at the agreed time and after sorting out a few formalities (like confirming access arrangements etc), we’ll start unloading tools and the parts kit.

Most boiler replacement installations are completed in one day, but rest assured that for longer jobs, we will fully communicate progress with you on a regular basis.

Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances do arise where we will offer prompt and pro-active resolutions.

We’ll be courteous at all times and respect your home, it’s contents and your loved ones. Whilst there will clearly be some disruption, we’ll work in an organised, tidy manner keeping your home as clean and tidy as possible.

Step 11 - Post-Installation

We’ll show you how to operate your new system. We’ll discuss your heating schedule with you and show you how to set up any boiler, heating and radiator controls to your desired schedule.  We’ll provide you with all of the appropriate product documentation for reference.

Service doesn’t stop after installation. We’ll give you a call shortly after completion to ensure you are fully satisfied and to answer any questions.

Step 12 - Warranty & Maintenance

We’ll register the boiler on your behalf to ensure you get the full, manufacturer backed warranty and provide the necessary documentary proof in due course.

We’ll send you a no obligation reminder when your boiler is due for its annual service.   We’ll also provide you with a fully inclusive, competitive fixed price quote to carry out the service.

Comments from our Customers….

“…we were scared of being ripped off with our very limited bit of savings and then we found this company… We’ve had a new Worcester combi boiler and a shower fitted for an amazing price !

…On turning up at our home to leaving the two lads who installed were efficient, friendly and most important they left my home spotless.  I was shown in detail how to use both the shower and our new wireless boiler…

An honest and reliable firm that i wont hesitate to recommend how fair priced and good they are

“From start to finish Scott and everyone at SafeGasUK were brilliant and professional. We had site a survey followed by a comprehensive quote from John. I was able to negotiate this to change it and make it fit what we wanted…

Really, really, happy with the end result and the process. They even placed protective floor runners and used dust cloths everywhere and then cleaned up after…

…The work, the price and the whole process, from start to finish, was brilliant and exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend Scott and the team at Safe Gas UK for anyone wanting any plumbing, heating…
